The research aims at revealing the obstacles and requirements for developing the leadership roles of Al-Azhar secondary institutes teachers, and to achieve this, the research used the descriptive approach; The study used the questionnaire as a tool to identify obstacles of developing the leadership roles of Al-Azhar secondary institutes teachers in Egypt on one hand, and to propose some requirements needed to meet these obstacles on the other hand.
