Abstract EN

The phenomenon of social violence began to increase recently in Jordan, where riots and attacks of all kinds in universities, schools, streets, and families, and through social media represented a social problem that threatened the public order of society and its components, including social peace.

This study concentrated on This problem and focus on the most important causes, types, methods of treatment and the role of the media in promoting this phenomenon, taking the community of Irbid Governorate as a model for the study.

The researcher used the quantitative descriptive methodology with a random sample from the governorate and results: that the economic factor, poverty and unemployment were among the main causes in the issue of violence, as well as the tribal shyness and the weakness of the civilized civil depth in the dialogue process, which pours into the concept of patriotism and law arbitration, as well as the role of the media in promoting the concept of Intellectual, logical, rational dialogue, political reform, and awareness-raising in order to establish a cohesive, loving and rooted society, as is the historical era, especially after the changes that occurred to it as a result of modern changes and political conditions.
