Abstract EN

The study aimed to measuring unemployment determinants in Sudan, to achieve this goal a standard model for the relationship between the variables of the study was formulated and constructed during the period 1980-2019.

the study problem lies in the main question : why unemployment is increasing in Sudan although, some efforts for reducing unemployment have been made by a sequential governments? the study assumed some hypotheses, the most important one is existence of inverse relationship having a negative impact statistically between investment and unemployment in Sudan.

the study has concluded that a negative relationship exists between investment and unemployment, and a positive relationship exists between population growth and unemployment in Sudan.

the study concluded of that there is an impact of the independent variables on unemployment by a rate of 86%.

the study has recommended the necessity of improving investment climate throughout lifting organizational and statutory restrictions which prevent investors and capital flow from out site.
