Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the social, psychological and economic problems facing the Saudi family during the home quarantine at the time of the emerging corona virus.

Covid-19.

The social survey method was used with a simple random sample on families in Riyadh, consisting of 750 Saudi families, and the SPSS program (statistical packages for social sciences) was used in the statistical analysis of the electronic questionnaire data which had been collected from the study sample.

The study found several results, the most important of which were : in the social problems (that the majority of the sample suffers from obstruction of routine appointments and medical reviews) by a percentage of the average (2.78); in the psychological problems, the response (feeling bored) got the highest percentage by (2.36) and in the economic problems the response (financial loss) got the highest response at (2.14) j And it was evident that there were statistically significant differences in the attitudes of the sample members of Saudi families in Riyadh towards the existence of social, psychological and economic problems according to the demographic, social and economic variables at the level of P value (0.05).

The study provided a number of recommendations that could contribute to reducing the social, psychological and economic problems that Saudi families face during home quarantine during epidemics and health pandemics.
