Abstract EN

The Islamic heritage has received the attention of orientalists who studied the Islamic East from several aspects, especially with regard to the life of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his wives, the mothers of the believers, may God be pleased with them.

There was a multiplicity of their scientific output, which was marred by forgery in Islamic legal issues, so their methodologies in that were exposed, and because of the importance of the “Islamic Encyclopedia” as it is the most popular reference for the products of orientalists.

The study decided to present what is specific to the mothers of the believers, may God be pleased with them, through the Islamic Encyclopedia and subject it to the correct scientific methodology to show what it contains of deception and falsification of some of the lives of the mothers of the believers, and for this the study used the scientific historical method.

It is based on presentation, induction, deduction and comparison with the correct sources, and accordingly the study concluded that the orientalists in their presentation of the mothers of the believers in the Islamic Encyclopedia did not adopt a correct scientific methodology in documenting authentic primary sources, but rather they included the irrigated without documenting it from its original source that it was received and relied on a narration The narration is known to be incorrect without indicating the source from which it was taken.
