Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight Sudanese experiences with urban primacy, its reality, reflections and future through land management, urban planning and legislations.

it also aims to discuss population, social and economic transformations that lead to the increase of rural migration to Khartoum.

the data collected by surveying from relevant institutions .based on these facts the study results shows super primate of Khartoum throughout Sudanese cities and there are socioeconomic causes of primacy such as population natural increase, rural immigration .

also crisis in housing, increasing shanty houses, degradation of life pattern, appearance of new crimes, decreasing agricultural land, urban poverty, ruralization of the city and defects strategic national planning.
