Abstract EN

The study aims to shed light on the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in taking care of foreign diplomatic bodies on its soil during the period 1395- 1425 AH corresponding to 1975- 2005 AD.

And answering questions related to the establishment of the diplomatic quarter in the city of Riyadh (embassies quarter) and providing the necessary infrastructure to attract these bodies to it and meet their needs and desires within the framework of international diplomatic agreements, and its efforts in facilitating the accommodation of diplomatic envoys, employees of these bodies and their families in the Kingdom.

The importance of the study is evident in its documentation of an important stage in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia In it, I was keen to establish solid and solid diplomatic relations with friendly and brotherly countries, and there is no doubt that the interest in these bodies is an important tributary to achieving that goal.

This study followed the historical-analytical approach and came to conclusions, foremost of which is the rapid growth of the number of diplomatic bodies in it as a reaction to the Kingdom’s clear interest in these bodies and the affairs of their nationals on its soil.
