Abstract EN

The study aimed at investigating the reality of tolerance culture and to identify the most common tolerance values in two universities ل -Hebron university & Palestine polytechnic university from the perspectives of students.

in addition, the study tended to identify the degree of differences among the roles of political student movements in fostering tolerance culture.

the sample of the study (253 students) was chosen from the students of the summer course of 2013.

the results showed that the level of tolerance culture was medium.

there were no statistically significant differences attributed to gender, university, and number of years (first to fifth year).

however, there was a statistically significant difference attributed to the variable of students’ movements for the favor of independent students.

in the end, the study extended some suggestions that aim at fostering the culture of tolerance.

some recommendations were highlighted as the last part of this study.
