دراسة الرواة الرواد الأوائل من الذين دونوا المرويات التاريخية المبكرة من الأحداث التاريخية آنذاك و دونوا السيرة النبوية تعد من الدراسات المهمة في التاريخ لأنها استقت المعلومات من منابعها الأصلية و بذلك توضح لنا حقبة تاريخية إسلامية مهمة لها تأثير واضح و ملموس كقدوة صالحة للأجيال الحالية و القادمة في تحصيل العلم و العمل به منذ سنين العمر الأولى دون كلل و ملل و سفيان بن عيينة يمثل شخصية تاريخية فذة فهو عالم جليل و لقب حافظ مكة.
