Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of science teachers in public schools in Jerash Governorate in linking knowledge to life from their perspective.

The study used the descriptive analysis approach, a questionnaire was development consisted from (20) paragraph, the sample of study consisted from (182) male and female teachers.

However, the findings of study showed that the role of science teachers in public schools in Jerash Governorate in linking knowledge to life from their perspective was moderated with average (3.66 out of 5).

In addition, the findings showed there were significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) in the degree of the role of science teachers in public schools in Jerash Governorate in linking knowledge to life from their perspective Refer to variable of teacher’s sex (male| female) in favor of female.

Furthermore, there weren’t any significant differences at (α≤0.05) according to teacher years of experience.

The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is the need to encourage students to actively participate in learning and self-learning, and to hold training courses for teachers on modern teaching strategies that develop students’ critical thinking skills.
