International standards regulating the right to a healthy environment revealed the close Link between the right to a healthy environment and the right to environmental information, starting with the Stockholm declaration on the environment, and through the World charter for nature, including the guidelines issued by the United Nations environment program.

In this regard, Morocco had ratified many conventions such as the Rio convention, and enshrined the right of access the environmental information through the national charter for the environment and sustainable development.
