This paper aimed at explaining the concept of description and defining it, then clarifying the relationship of description to narration, and studying the sections of description.

in this paper, the inductive and applied approach was followed.

and that is by describing the case and then applying what was mentioned in the theoretical part on the stories of a doctor, in a manner that combines the old and the modern, and among the findings of the paper is that the interest in the descriptive structure was very old, and that the description was evident in the stories of a doctor and was useful in showing and presenting the characters.

descriptors connected the mind of the recipient to the stories; as the scenes were clearly depicted for us, it aroused the reader's imagination and made him indirectly involved in drawing events.
