Abstract EN

The objective of this study is to identify the characteristics of family security from the perspective of the graduate students of the college of literature at Omar al-Mukhtar University.

in addition, the study aims to reveal the differences in average estimations of the individuals of the sample considering two variables (age and specialization).

in order to perform this study, the authors developed an approved questionnaire distributed among a sample consisting of 120 students of both sexes.

the results of this study have shown from the perspective of postgraduate students at Omar al-Mukhtar university, the family security in Libyan society is high according to arithmetic averages and the Likert pentatonic scale used in the conducted study.

also the results shown significant differences in family security when the sex variable is considered, while there no statistically significant differences have been found based on the age variable.
