The honorable Kingdom of Morocco is emerging in Africa.

Having made a strong comeback to the African Union, after almost 33 years of absence, Morocco is now back to join the Economic Community of West African States.

This return came as a result of a clever strategy led by King Mohammed VI, who visited sub-Saharan Africa on numerous occasions since the first decade of the twenty-first century, accompanied by elite clerics and businessmen.

It is undeniable that these successive official royal visits are credited with increasing Moroccan influence on the continent.
