Deletion is a linguistic phenomenon which has semantic benefits and rhetorical purposes.

This research presents a definition for deletion ,mentions its conditions and purposes, and it moves out to study deletion in the innovated Palestinian poet Fadwa Toqan.

The research discusses deletion in noun clause (subject and predicate) and verb clause (verb, subject and object).

The study tries to focues on semantic purposes to these deletion.
