Abstract EN

This study aims at knowing the extent to which the risks arising from sports are acceptable, as they have not had any legal regulations before, Therefore; this study came to deal with the concept of accepting sports risks and stating similar legal terms with acceptance of risks, conditions and characteristics.

The study also dealt with the impact of accepting risks on compensation and reparation, and its statement of contractual and tort liability, which is considered one of the most prevalent issues that directly affect the lives of many members of society.

The study touched on the statement of the position of the Jordanian and Egyptian civil law on the impact of accepting risks on reparation for harm, and the researcher used in this study the descriptive and analytical approach as it is one of the best approaches in interpreting legal texts and judicial jurisprudence.

The study also used the comparative approach to enrich the study from the point of view of Jordanian and Egyptian law.

In the conclusion of the study the researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which was that acceptance of sports risks cannot be considered in all their cases a reason for exemption from liability, and that the condition contained in the contract, which includes exemption from liability for those who accepted sports risks, is void in cases of physical injuries, and the researcher recommended The necessity of expanding the study of risk acceptance, as it needs legal regulation due to its great impact on reparation in sports.
