English Abstract

The current research aimed to know: the marital silence among the employees of Al-Mustansiriya University, as it is determined by married employees and married female employees at Al-Mustansiriya University who have been married for five years or more for the year 2020-2021.

Marital muteness has been defined.

The second chapter included a presentation of the theoretical framework and the adopted theory, as well as a presentation of previous studies that dealt with the variable of marital silence.

As for the third chapter, the methodology and procedures of the research were presented in terms of the research community and its sample, and after reviewing the standards that dealt with the marital silence variable, such as the study (Hadi, 2010) and the study (Al-Obaidi and Al-Abbasi, 2010), the study (Hadi, 2012), which dealt with building special standards With marital silence, and based on the theory of George Homans and Peter Blau (Jurj Humanz & Bitar Bilaw, 1990), the two researchers prepared the questionnaire’s paragraphs through the theoretical framework and previous relevant standards, by taking advantage of some of its paragraphs appropriate to the concept of marital silence, and the number of the questionnaire’s paragraphs was (14) A paragraph, with suitable answer alternatives that are (yes, no), as well as presenting the steps of psychometric characteristics of validity, stability, final application and the means used in analyzing the results, presenting recommendations and suggestions, and a list of Arab and foreign sources.
