English Abstract

The current research aimed to find out : 1-The level of awareness of creativity among distinguished students.

2-The level of awareness of creativity among distinguished students according to the gender variable (males - females).

3-The level of emotional regulation among the distinguished students .

4-The level of emotional regulation among distinguished students according to the gender variable (males - females).

5-The level of psychological well-being among distinguished students .

6-The level of psychological well-being among distinguished students according to the gender variable (males - females).

7-Predictive values of awareness of creativity and emotional regulation in psychological well-being among distinguished students.

he research sample consisted of (204) distinguished students who are present in the distinguished and distinguished schools in Baghdad for the academic year 2021/2022.

The researcher prepared the three research tools which are (awareness of creativity, emotional regulation, psychological contentment), where she built a scale of awareness of creativity according to The theory of (Brouge 1988) and it consisted of (30) items.

As for the emotional regulation scale, the researcher adopted the scale (Salloum, 2015), which consists of (28) items, which was built based on the items of the Cross and John scale (2013) and the Garnivsky scale and others (2002), As for the psychological well-being scale, it was built according to the theory of (Raif 1995) psychological well-being and it consisted of (32) items, and a number of psychometric characteristics such as honesty and stability were extracted to the standards, then the researcher applied the previous measures to the members of the research sample of distinguished students and after collecting the data and processing it statistically using One-sample t-test, two-independent t-test, and regression analysis.

The results indicated that: 1-Distinguished students have an awareness of creativity.

2-There are no statistically significant differences between males and females of outstanding students in the awareness of creativity 3-The distinguished students have emotional regulation 4-There are no statistically significant differences between male and female students who excel in emotional regulation.

5-The distinguished students have psychological bliss.

6-There are no statistically significant differences between male and female outstanding students in psychological well-being.

7-Awareness of creativity and emotional regulation predict psychological well-being among distinguished students.
