English Abstract

Social intelligence plays an important role in human life.

On its basis, a person builds his future and his hopes.

The importance does not lie in the presence of the level of social intelligence only, but in how to exploit it and benefit from it in scientific and practical life as a major goal of education.

Therefore, social intelligence has an important role.

In human life, especially the student in his field of work, he has a dual relationship, his relationship with the professors in his specialization and his relationship with his colleagues The current research aims to identify: Social intelligence among adolescent students.

Social intelligence among adolescent students according to the gender variable (male/female).

The researcher used the Albrecht Scale (2004), which was built on Karl Albrecht's theory of social intelligence.

The scale consists of (31) items, and each item has three graded social attitudes with the answer (1, 2, 3) and, upon correction, it gives grades (1,2,3), respectively, by applying the scale to (100) male and female students who were chosen by random method.

The researcher verified the validity of the scale with two indicators, namely the apparent and constructive honesty, by presenting the paragraphs of the scale with a questionnaire on (5) of the arbitrators from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
