The current research aims to identify the effect of two active learning strategies in acquiring some language skills and developing life skills for kindergarten children.

The members of each group were (20) children.

The researchers prepared two tools, the first for language skills, which consisted of (20) paragraphs, and the second for life skills, which consisted of (15) whose validity and reliability were confirmed, and after the end of the experiment, which lasted (5) weeks, the two tools were applied to the research sample and when analyzing The data obtained using one-way analysis of variance as a statistical method, The results showed that the two experimental groups outperformed the control group in life skills, while there were no differences between the three groups in language skills.

The researchers made a set of recommendations, including the need to pay attention to employing modern strategies in teaching kindergarten children, such as the fishbone strategy and the strategy of exchanging cards that encourage active learning.

The researchers also suggested conducting a study to find out the effectiveness of using another active learning strategy in developing language and life skills.
