"Staying away from straight thinking is one of the problems that lead the individual to weak self-confidence and affect his relationship with others and his personal and practical life.

It also hinders the individual from progress and construction and reduces cooperation.

Building societies is based mainly on the minds of their children.

Straight thinking is a type of logical thinking that characterizes the individual by his ability to categorize, solve problems and express concepts and facts in realistic words away from fraud, deception and self and social benefits.

The current research aimed at verifying the global structure of the straight thinking scale, identifying the implications of the scale stability and its factors, and identifying the straight thinking and its factors among university students.

It is divided into four areas: (the ability to act and solve problems), (expressing concepts and facts), (staying away from fraud and deception), and (staying away from self-interest).

Gradual alternatives to the answer are (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never) given when correcting grades (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively for positive items and vice versa for negative items.

The scale was applied to a sample of students from the College of Education at the university Al-Mustansiriya reached (400) male and female students, and the validity of the scale was verified through the apparent validity and construction validity by verifying the factorial structure of the scale, and in light of that, two paragraphs were deleted as their saturation was less than (0.30) and the researcher also verified the stability of the scale by two re-test methods and hostile Cronbach's alpha, and thus the scale consists of (34) paragraphs in its final form, and the data has been analyzed using the statistical bag (spss), and the results showed that the university students have straight thinking, and in light of the results of the research, some recommendations and suggestions were put in place.
