This research aims to know the effect of the ring recording strategy on the achievement of geography for fourth-grade literary students.

To achieve this goal, the researcher formulated the following null hypothesis.

There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who study geography according to the loop recording strategy and the average scores of the control group students who study the same subject according to the usual method for the fourth literary grade students.

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher adopted an experimental design with partial control, which is the design of (the experimental group and the control group with a post-test).

The study of the research was limited to the first chapter of the book “The Foundations of Geography and its Techniques” which is to be taught to the fourth literary grade students for the academic year ( 2021-2022) in Iraq.

Randomly, Division (A) represents the experimental group that is studying (the loop recording strategy), and Division (B) represents the control group that is taught in the usual way.

the chronological age of the research sample, the general average of the geography subject in the third grade, the academic achievement of the parents) and the researcher also controlled a number of extraneous variables that may affect the dependent variable.

It was prepared by the researcher himself and made sure of its validity and stability after it was applied to his reconnaissance sample, and it was also applied to the research sample.

At the end of the experiment, the post-test was applied in order to know the results of the students of the two research groups that were studied during the experiment period.

The test consisted of (42) items of the type of multiple choice.
