Abstract EN

The research aim have set as follows:Proactive motivation of postgraduate students.

The research sample consisted of (400) male and female students of Baghdad University, the sample of this research was chosen in the random stratified method.

For achieving the aims, a proactive motivation was constructed in light of the literature and theory.

The scale is consisting of (41) items.

The validity of the current scale items is verified by presenting its items and alternatives to the jury members.

One of the items is excluded by the jury members.

The number of the items became (40).

After analysing the items by the discrimination and the internal consistency, two items were deleted from the scale, so the number of items of the proactive motivation scale became (38).The following is a summary of the research results: Postgraduate students are proactive.Thus, the study ended with several recommendations and suggestions.
