This research aims at knowing the difficulties that fact the science text books teachers in doing scientific experiments from their points of view.

The work shows that there are statistically significant differences within the range of (α= 0.05) between the responses of the study sample individuals in their evaluation of the difficulties in making the mentioned experiments taking in to consideration differences in specialization.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher, used the descriptive method and made a (49) item questionnaire distributed on three domains (labs, teachers and students).

The questionnaire covered (154) male and female science subject teachers in Baquba- Diyala.

The results showed that the biggest difficulty that faces the chosen sample is that the lab tools and devices are old and do not cope with the present scientific progress.

This point got the first rank and within an average of (4.45).

Being not convinced with the importance of the labs in science text- books teaching, I evaluated it within rate of (1.74).

The results didn’t show statistically significant differences among the views of the teachers of the above subject about the difficulties they face during making the mentioned experiments with a consideration to specialization.

The researcher recommends supplying labs with updated modern devices and tools that have a concern with the developed science curriculum and suggests making an analytic study of the content of the secondary science text – books to show the number and quality of the scientific experiments the above books contain and to know if they suit the standard of the students.
