The Republic of Iraq This research aims: (Evaluating the Arabic language subject textbook for the fourth year of middle school in light of the quality standards of the textbook from the point of view of male and female teachers): In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach (survey) as a method for his study, because it is considered one of the appropriate curricula to achieve the goal of the research.

For the academic year (2020-2021), and the researcher randomly chose the research sample, to be representative of the research community, as it reached (200) teachers, by (100) teaching staff in the General Directorate of Education Rusafa Third, and (100) teaching in the General Directorate of Karkh Education The first, and as for the search tool, it was a questionnaire for the quality standards for the Arabic language textbook for fourth grade middle school, and the validity of the tool (the questionnaire) was verified by presenting it to the arbitrators, and the questionnaire included (95) criteria, distributed in six areas: It included (17) criteria, and the content included (21) standards, the educational methods as it included (11) criteria, the evaluation questions as it included (17) criteria, the style of presentation as it included (13) standards, the form and the artistic direction of the book as it included (16) As a benchmark), after data collection and analysis Results statistically by using the weighted mean, standard deviation and weight percentile, the researcher reached several results, including:  The third field (Learning Styles) ranked first with a weighted mean (3.71), and a percentage weight (74.2%).

 The first field (goals) ranked last with a weighted average (3.21), and a percentage weight (14.64%).

In light of the results, the researcher concluded the following:  The standards achieved (75), out of the total standards (95), so the percentage of the standards achieved was (78%) of the total in the textbook.

 The unfulfilled standards (20), out of the total standards (95), so the percentage of unfulfilled standards was (21%) of the total in the textbook.

The researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including:  Finding an organized methodology for selecting the subjects in the fourth year of middle school book in light of the quality standards of the textbook.

 Attempting to subject the selected topics to the fourth grade middle school book for evaluation in light of the textbook quality standards.

 The General Curriculum Directorate at the Ministry of Education shall involve teachers in developing and designing the textbook.

Because they are the ones who implement this book.

 The need for the Educational Curricula and Techniques Division to provide the various schools with their needs of the necessary technologies that help in the scientific application of the new curriculum.
