Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the general level of information coding strategies for fourth-grade students in the Department of Physics.

In order to verify the goal of the research, the researcher built the information coding strategies scale consisting of (40 paragraphs), and the researcher ascertained the validity of the tool through apparent validity by presenting the test items to a group of experts in psychological and educational sciences.

Through the method of the two extremes and the method of the relationship of the paragraph score to the total score of the scale, the stability was also verified by extracting the stability parameter by the internal consistency method (Alfa- Cronbach).

After the tool became ready, the researcher applied these two tools to a random sample of 200 male and female students from Fourth-grade students in physics departments in colleges of education in Iraqi universities in Baghdad govemorate for the academic year 2020-2021 AD When using statistical methods, the results showed that fourth-grade students in physics departments in the Faculties of Education have strategies for coding information with a degree above the default average for the scale and more Strategies, using visualization, followed by verbal clarification, then organizing, recitation, and as a result, the researcher was presented There is a set of recommendations and suggestions.
