Abstract Research goal to: 1 -Designing an adaptive learning environment using artificial intelligence (AI) technology for students of the College of Education.

2 -Knowing the impact of designing an adaptive learning environment using artificial intelligence (AI) technology on the future thinking of students of the College of Education.

To achieve the second research objective, the following null hypothesis was formulated: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the average scores of the experimental group students who will be taught in the adaptive learning environment using artificial intelligence (AI) and the average scores of the control group who will be taught in the usual (dominant) way of forward thinking.

The current research was limited to students of the College of Education for Pure Sciences / Department of Physics (morning study) for the universities of the Middle Euphrates (Holy Karbala, Babylon, Qadisiyah), for the academic year 2021-2022.

The researchers adopted the experimental design with partial control for two equal groups (experimental group and control group) with the post-test for future thinking, and according to this design the study sample (students of the second stage, Department of Physics, Qadisiyah University) was intentionally selected from among the universities, the number of students of the second stage / morning study (238) students divided into three divisions, Division C was chosen randomly, which consisted of three groups.

Two groups were randomly selected, one of which was the experimental group and included (25) students who studied the scientific material using an adaptive learning environment using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and the other was the control group.

It included (25) students who studied the same subject in the usual (dominant) way, as the two groups were rewarded in the variables (chronological age calculated in months, intelligence, future thinking scale), and the scientific subject (the first academic course) was determined by the six practical experiments, for the electrical laboratory subject for the academic year.

2021 - 2022.

Behavioral objectives were formulated for these experiments, as their number reached (103) behavioral objectives, and for the six levels of Bloom's classification in the cognitive aspect, and with regard to the research tool, a scale for future thinking was prepared consisting of (50) items, and the psychometric properties of it were verified using the (Microsoft) program.

As the experiment was applied in the first academic course for the academic year 2021-2022, for a period of (12) weeks, with one study lecture per week for each group, and after the end of the experiment, the research tool was applied to the two groups (experimental control).

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in the future thinking scale with an impact size for the independent variable (adaptive learning environment with artificial intelligence technology AI), which amounted to (0.36), which is a great value to show the size of the impact of the independent variable on the dependent variable, and in light of this, the researchers came up with a group of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
