Abstract EN

This study looked at science and scientists at Beit Al-Maqdis in two studies: The first topic dealt with the mobile sciences, the most important of which is the sharia sciences, which witnessed great prosperity ،The most important branches of this science are the science of reading the Holy Qur'an and its importance and the most important scholars who have distinguished themselves in it, the books and works they produced, the science of interpretation and the most important interpreters, the role of the Royal Sultans in supporting and encouraging this science, the science of hadith and its importance, the most important modern and the most important books and works of Beit Al-Maqdis, and the most important books and publications produced in this field.

As for the science of jurisprudence, it is one of the most widespread of the teaching of jurisprudence on the four schools of thought, and one of the mobile sciences, which also spread during that period the sciences of Arabic language and the science of history.As for the second topic, it talked about the mental sciences and their importance, so these sciences varied in Jerusalem during the Mamluk era, and a number of its men emerged, but it proceeded at a lower and weaker pace when compared to the mobile sciences, and its most important branches that prevailed in Jerusalem in that period: the science of arithmetic and the statutes, The science of timings, the science of medicine and doctors, logic and theology.
