This study focuses on giving one of the most prominent roles entrusted to the control departments of the Ministry of Commerce, which is to monitor the extent to which economic institutions apply the applicable legislation and regulation, especially with regard to their respect for the conditions of practicing the activity in terms of obtaining the prior license before starting the activity.

An activity that has a direct impact on the environment.

This control is effective in terms of arresting every economic operator who does not respect the conditions for practicing this activity, not to mention the judicial follow-up that it follows by deterring anyone who breaks the laws of the Republic aimed at causing damage to the environment, and through this intervention will focus on those regulated activities that the legislator aims to It aims to respect the environment, protected areas and sites, and the living framework of the population, in addition to protecting natural resources and public properties, which are considered important environmental components.

All of this falls within the framework of consumer protection in the first place and the national economy in the second place, which gives greater impetus to the role played by the interests of the Ministry of Commerce, as it seeks to protect the national economy and works to sustain it, and therefore the environmental dimension has become one of the basic variables within the framework of monitoring carried out by trade interests.
