Abstract EN

Our institution including universities faces great challenges and difficulties that prevent it from achieving its goals and the delegation of powers is one of the important issues that have a direct impact on the various institutions and this is reflected in the administrative creativity in Iraqi universities.

The aim of the research is to identify the level of delegation of powers to the deans of colleges at the University of Baghdad from the point of view of the heads of departments as well as to identify the administrative creativity of the deans of the colleges and to reveal the correlation between the delegation of powers and administrative creativity.

The faculties of the University of Baghdad for the year (2020) and the research sample was chosen randomly amounting to (120) department head.

The results of the research showed that there is a high level of delegation of powers by the deans of the faculties of the University of Baghdad in addition to their high level of administrative creativity and the existence of a correlation between the delegation of powers and administrative creativity and in light of the results of the research the research came out with a set of conclusions recommendations and suggestions.
