Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the reality of perceptions of King Khalid University staff about the educational role of the Awqaf in supporting its goals, while presenting the proposed mechanisms to activate the educational role to Awqaf the King Khalid University in supporting the goals of the university .The study relied on the descriptive method through a questionnaire that was applied to (337) staff from King Khalid University to achieve these goals.

The results of the field study showed the objectives of King Khalid University are based around the interest in developing the educational process, its programs, and graduate programs, supporting faculty members professionally and researching, and enhancing participation in community service, as well as supporting access to institutional excellence and the development of financial resources at the university, and the Awqaf system at King Khalid University is still He is taking his first steps and is dependent on him to perform many tasks and functions that support the university financially and develop its services to achieve institutional excellence.

The results also indicated that there is a great agreement from the responses of the current research sample members about the role of the endowment at King University in supporting the following areas: Educational and research services And community service There is great agreement from the responses of the members of the current research sample about the role of the Awqaf at King University in supporting the following areas: educational services, research services and community service.

Based on the results, the research presented proposals to activate the role of the Awqaf in achieving the goals of King Khalid University.
