The linguistic concept of discourse has been transcended in postmodern thought as it is no longer a group of successive pronouncements, thanks to the French philosopher Michel Foucault, as in addition to being a group of statements belonging to the same discursive formality, it is not just a rhetorical or pictorial unit that can be repeated Throughout history, this is what we will discuss in our research in order to know the way Foucault deals with discourse in other words, the new concept that he came with, in order to reach in the end to uncover the concept of truth and its relationship to error and the extent of their relationship to power, pleasure, and knowledge by exposing the procedures that control the processes of its production and reproduction.
