تعد نظرية النحو الوظيفي التي أرسى دعائمها، و حدد منهجيتها، و بين وجهة نظرها اللساني سيمون ديك الهولندي إحدى النظريات اللسانية الغربية الحديثة.

ما يميز هذه النظرية هي أنها حاولت أن تدرس بنية اللغة وفق تصور مخالف لما دأبت عليه النظريات اللسانية الأخرى، وذلك بأن لا تعزل بين البنية المنجزة، و بين السياقات الخارجية التي أسهمت في تكوين تلك البنية و توجيهها عند المتكلم، في الدراسة و التنظير، و التطبيق، و قد استطاعت في وقت وجيز أن تبني جهازا واصفا يعالج مختلف جوانب اللغة، بما فيها الجوانب الخارجية التي تؤثر على البنية، أو ما يعرف بالجوانب التداولية (القوة الإنجازية، الوظائف التداولية، الإحالة.

هذه النظرية صارت معروفة في الوطن العربي و مشاركا في أبحاثها و تطوير جهازها بفضل الجهود التي بذلها أحمد المتوكل المغربي في التعريف بها، و تقريبها إلى القارئ العربي، و استثمارها في دراسة بنية اللغة العربية.

نسعى في هذه المداخلة إلى عرض جهود المتوكل في التعريف بهذه النظرية، و الكيفية التي قدمها بها، و مجالات تطبيقها عنده، وذلك حتى يسهل علينا مراجعة هذا المنجز و تقييمه.

English Abstract

One of the modern Western linguistic theories is the theory of functional grammar that Simon Dick laid its foundations, determined its methodology and its linguistic view.

What distinguishes this theory is that it tried to study the structure of the language according to a perception contrary to what other linguistic theories have been doing, by not isolating between the completed structure, and between the external contexts that contributed to the formation of this structure and guiding it to the speaker, in study, theory, and application, It was able in a short time to build a descriptive device that deals with various aspects of the language, including the external aspects that affect the structure, or what is known as the deliberative aspects (achievement power, deliberative functions, referral ...).

This theory has become well-known in the Arab world, and is involved in its research and development of its apparatus thanks to the efforts made by Ahmed Al- Mutawakil Al-Maghribi to introduce it, Bringing this theory closer to the Arab reader, and investing it in studying the structure of the Arabic language, which is known in his many writings as: The functional grammar of the Arabic language ( Nahwa Allogha Alarabia Alwadhifi).

This intervention seeks to present Al- Mutawakkil's efforts in introducing this theory, how it was presented it, and its fields of application, in order to facilitate our review and evaluation of this achievement.
