Strategic planning is one of the most effective administrative functions, as it plays an important role in enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, Our study aimed to show the reality of strategic planning in small and medium enterprises in Laghouat, By distributing a questionnaire that included a set of items that included the subject of the research and distributed to a study sample, The SPSS statistical program was used to test the validity of our hypotheses with the help of a set of statistical methods, From this, we found an application to the strategic planning process through environmental analysis, strategy formulation and implementation in small and medium enterprises.
