Startups are newly emerging companies that are struggling for survival, and they are considered one of the most prominent engines of economic growth in many countries of the world, so this research paper came to identify this type of companies, the methods of supporting them in Algeria and the various challenges they face, especially in the context of current economic changes.

Among the findings of the study is an increase in the government's interest in this sector and an attempt to activate and support it by creating a special ministry in this field to reduce dependency on the hydrocarbons sector, but despite this it still suffers from many challenges, and the study recommends the necessity of simplifying administrative procedures and combating bureaucracy, while embodying contracting projects on the ground.
