From independence to the present day, education in Algeria has undergone several reforms and modifications in answer to the social renewable demands on one side and to keep pace with global developments on the other.

Under the shadow of globalization, the education system is trying to improve the quality of its results to the level of schools in developed countries.

This is why teaching by objectives has given way to skills-based teaching that has not been immune to change over the last two years.

Despite this, education in the modern Algerian school still faces many problems and obstacles that prevent it from achieving its goals.

Through this document, we will try to highlight the most important obstacles and problems that the Algerian school faces, as well as the reasons and the factors that brought education in our country to this current situation.
