The semiotic approach has found a great acceptance in the Arabic critical arena, and our Magrebians critics were influenced by the leading semiotic schools in semiotic analysis and they drew from them their mechanism and procedures in reading texts and literary works, similar to the European school, the American school and the Russian school as well.

in spite the difficulties and problems that encountered the reception of the semiotic school in the Arab Magreb, critics represented it consciously sometimes and unconsciously at other times was great.

this is been reflected in the great momentum in the literature and publications.
