Algeria has experienced theatrical translation like the rest of the world, from and to different languages and with standards and techniques that differ depending on the purpose of the translation.

this study will attempt to diagnose the reality of theatrical translation in Algeria, while shedding light on the difference between translation and adaptation which is more present in Algerian theater.
