Abstract EN

The Algerian constitution of 2020 contains the principle of legal security in both the preamble to the Constitution and its article 34.

In this regard, the constituant tends to regulate this principle in order to improve the legislative system so that the State strictly respect the concept of legal security, especially regarding the regulation related to rights and freedoms.

As well as providing the clarity and stability of legislation.

Also guaranteeing the legal security as one of the goals of the State of rules.

Therefore, legal security represents one of the new instruments in the embodiment of legal protection that should be respected by the public authorities.

Since it plays a fundamental role in the stability of social actions, as well as the right to enjoy rights and freedoms by individuals.

In the present research we discuss this issue.
