Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the degree of employing kindergarten teachers in Makkah for digital skills (use of digital devices and applications, digital communication, digital media and digital calendar) during the Covid-19 crisis.

The study followed the descriptive approach, and the data were collected using a card note of female teachers ’performance while teaching remotely via the electronic platform.

The sample consisted of (32) female teachers.

Data were analyzed using arithmetic means, and the (Mann-Whitney) and (Kruskal-Wallis) nonparametric tests.

Results showed that teachers employ digital skills during distance education to a moderate degree, whether in the total degree or the four sub-axes.

Results also revealed that there are differences due to the difference in specialization, in favor of the kindergarten specialization.

Also, differences were found in the experience variable in favor of teachers who had experience of 10 years or more, and differences according to the training course variable in favor of female teachers with more than 3 courses.
