يركز الكثير من الباحثين عند مناقشة أليات تفعيل الديمقراطية التشاركية، على مهام التشريع القانوني و عمليات تنفيذه، غير أن هناك اليوم أهمية كبيرة لفهم جديد يواكب حداثة التطورات التكنولوجية و إستخداماتها المتنوعة.
التي قادت إلى شكل متطور من التفاعل تمثله شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي.
وقد جاءت هذه الدراسة بهدف تشخيص مفهوم الديمقراطية التشاركية في ضوء شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي، و تحديد أهم المؤشرات الدالة على تحفيز الديمقراطية التشاركية بفعل الشبكات الإجتماعية، و الكشف عن ألية عمل شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي كأرضية جديدة لتفعيل الديمقراطية التشاركية، كما تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة خصائص الديمقراطية التشاركية في بيئة الشبكات الإجتماعية من الناحية النظرية، مركزين على زاوية تحفيز الديمقراطية التشاركية نتيجة لاستخدام الشبكات الإجتماعية.
و تأتي هذه الدراسة لمواصلة مساعي البحث الذي يربط بين تطور عمل شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي و الديمقراطية التشاركية، كون تطور شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي يتطلب مسايرة هذه التطورات في الجانب السياسي لمعرفة الدور الذي يمكن أن تمارسه شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي على الديمقراطية التشاركية، من أجل تشكيل قاعدة معرفية مبنية على منهجية علمية محكمة، من خلال إثارة التساؤل حول دور شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي في تحفيز الفعل الديمقراطي التشاركي

When discussing mechanisms for activating participatory democracy, many researchers focus on the tasks of legal legislation and its implementation processes, but today there is great importance for a new understanding that keeps pace with the new technological developments and their diverse uses.
