Monetary stability is one of the objectives that most countries seek to achieve by adopting a restrictive monetary policy.

Thanks to our study of this subject, we have identified to what extent monetary policy can control inflation in Algeria, as well as the relations between them, by using certain economic variables in the econometric study The period 1990-2019 which is the currency block, the discount rate, the exchange rate, And using the ARDL model in the study, we concluded in the end that the effect of monetary policy on inflation was relatively, and the effect of monetary policy tools was long term.
