Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the training needs of secondary school teachers in Mecca to design electronic tests.

The study followed the descriptive survey method, and the data were collected using a four-pronged questionnaire: technical design of electronic testing, electronic test question design, correction of electronic test questions, and electronic test feeding design.

The study was applied to a sample of 336 teachers.

The results of the study found that the level of training requirements for the technical design of electronic tests was high, while it was average in the overall degree and in axes: the design and correction of electronic test questions, and the design of feedback for electronic testing.

The results also showed differences due to different specializations in favor of scientific disciplines, while there were no differences due to the different number of years of service, or the number of training courses in electronic tests.
