Abstract EN

The current research is to identify the effect of analogical thinking in developing the mathematical prowess skills of fourth-grade students.

A sample of two groups of one of the experimental models in mathematics according to the strategy of analog play and the other control in a similar study according to the method of the ordinary method.

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a selection of mathematical proficiency suitable for fourth grade students of science، The statistical package (SPSS) program was used to analyze the data and reach the results.

The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.5) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied using the analogical thinking strategy and the average scores of the control group students who studied in the usual way in the mathematical prowess test in favor of the experimental group students.
