The current research seeks to identify the mathematical thinking skills and their relationship to the conceptual comprehension of second-grade intermediate students.

The research only included (413) male and female students, and for all the data and information necessary to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher prepared two research tools (testing mathematical thinking skills and conceptual comprehension) and extracting the important psychometric characteristics from validity ـ 442 and stability, and after reassurance to those characteristics, the research tools were applied to The basic research sample and the study found the following: • Students of the second intermediate grade possess a percentage of knowledge in the skills of mathematical thinking.

• Students of the second intermediate grade have a level of knowledge in conceptual comprehension.

• There is a positive direct relationship between the level of mathematical thinking skills among students of the second intermediate grade and conceptual comprehension, as it was noted that the high level of students' mathematical thinking skills is offset by an increase in their level of conceptual comprehension.
