There is no doubt that commercial fraud causes significant harm to the economic and social level.

Therefore, the Islamic legislation worked to prevent and combat it, taking all the means and different ways.

One of the mechanisms used to achieve this is calculation which may refer to the overseeing of the market and looking at its measures and scales, and preventing fraud in all its forms.

The calculation has proven its effectiveness, yet its counterpart in the Algerian legislation is what the economic control services affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce do of market supervision.
