This paper aims to contribute to the understanding of the social and cultural factors that affect the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) according to the criterion of the environment, as well as the theoretical approaches to the correlation of the growth of these institution with the sociocultural and environmental factors.

The researchers have translated their perception of this growth into explanations of this effect that is controversial among experts in the field.
