Abstract EN

The Algerian state has recently activated the process of local development in accordance with local programs and policies aimed at improving the living standards of individuals for the better by involving the local community in the developmental work.

It expresses the sense of belonging in solving the problems on the one hand and looking for needs and requirements on the other.

The aim of this is study is to highlight the obstacles of community participation in the local development process.

This is in view of the nature of the projects and development programs and the extent of the community's response to them, through the use of an analytical sociological approach to the local developmental action in the social dimension of the Value accordance to a participatory philosophy in the implementation and contribution.
