Abstract EN

This paper aims at shedding light on the problematic of relationship between economic growth and the process of democratization theoretically and practically through studying the case of Egypt, after the popular movement.

the study is based on analysing and monitoring studies and theoretical researches explaining the process of democratization, and democratic approach with discussing the relations' nature between the economic growth and the democratization theoretically.

at the end of the study, a comparison between the extent of theoretical trends' validity explaining the process of democratization, in its economic side, and the Egyptian situation, after the popular movement, has been made.
