Abstract EN

Many historians were and still raising a lots of issues about the reality of the ottoman presence in Algeria, maybe one of the most controversial issue involves mainly the mechanisms with which the ottoman minority was able to stabilize its rule in Algeria.

Especially that the rule of this minority dominated Algeria occupying a wide area for a considerable period of time which lasted more than three centuries and extended till the start of the desert areas of the country.

Bearing in mind that ottomans have applied and adopted several mechanisms in almost all aspects including the military mechanism, political, administrative, economic and the social one, in order to establish their rule in the territory of Algeria.

In this article, however, we will try to highlight the direct military strategy which reflects the aim of this project and we will shed light on the most crucial plans that made it work.

we will, of course, deal with the indirect military strategy in the second part of this article -God willing.
